That Animal Lady

Those are some of the worst words that a patient can hear.

I heard them just yesterday morning in regards to our youngest cat, Jack Morris, an overweight, black and white, super sweet five-year-young kitten.  He has the loudest purr you’ve ever heard.

The past thirty-six hours have been very trying, but we’re far more optimistic at this moment than we were yesterday morning.

It all started over a week ago, when Jack seemed to be constantly nauseated and vomiting–we thought it was a new treat we tried with him that upset his tummy.  We took him to the vet to make sure it wasn’t anything more serious, but at that time, she agreed that he just ate something bad, gave him some medicine for his nausea, and sent him on his way.

He improved, but never got to 100% Jack Morris.  He started sneezing and we gave him lysine
